EXPERIMENT 4

 AIM: to make simple observation during a reaction between calcium carbonate, chips and power, with hydrochloric acid

Method:

1. Measure 2mL of Hydrochloric Acid and pour it into a boiling tube.

1. Using the tongs to hold the boiling tube over the sink, add a pea-sized amount of Calcium Carbonate powder.
2. Repeat experiment instead of using the same amount of marble chips rather than the powder.
