ART

WEEK ONE/TWO 
In art, we have been thinking of things that we care about and that inspire us with art.So we did a brainstorm if those things and tried to narrow down are a topic of art this year I choose dreams, choice and friendship as my overall theme.
WEEK THREE 
in art we started to sketch are work out on paper to find ideas we like and what we can work with and artist that inspired us and mine was Banksy 

WEEK FOUR/FIVE 

we researched an artist (Banksy) and found a piece of artwork they did

No future girl balloon

Composition
the main point of focus of this painting is to show that we are damaging the earth and the children won't have a future and the part of the work draws your eye the most is the no future because of the colours and the balloon.
this painting is a simple painting but with the texture of the paint mixed with the wall and the old paint, it gives it a complex import to the texture.
And this painting does not use the golden ration because of the way the painter designs his paintings


Colours
Describing the colours the painter has used black and red. The girl is a black colour so show her poorness and her lack of ability to clean. So she’s dirty.and the red is a hot colour that which makes it stand out from the girl. The dominant colours are black and red, that are the main colour of the painting and the ones that stand out.
The colours create an emotional is the black, it makes the girl look down, dirty, sad, and poor.


Paint application
The media that used spray paint and stencil.
the paint has been applied with a stencil, spray paint
Has the artist used the application of media to reinforce the meaning of the artwork? The paint has been applied to the work and to give it the texture of the poor girl to show that she is dirty and has no future.


Tone
tone use to guide the viewer to any parts of the painting by the shadows and shading of the girl to show that sad and darkness
What tone is used to create an emotional effect, dark, dramatic, poor, sad, scared, lost?
Describe the quality of light - shadow, soft, dark, non-existent, dramatic, musty, dull.


Form
The figures and forms are the balloons and the girl and they have a different shape.the forms/objects naturalistic, distorted, simplified, proportional, formal dramatic, idealised and emotional.

Do the forms look solid and show volume, or are they flattened? How is this achieved? The girl is bold and I showed in a 3d light so it is not flattened. it is 3d to show texture and make it realistic.


WEEK SIX
in art, we did sketches of the ideas that are relevant to our themes

FRIENDSHIP-infinity


WEEK SEVEN/EIGHT
we sketched some ideas for the first picture on our portfolio and made it better my adding ideas from out idea like adding choice and dream together into one picture

WEEK NINE
we finalised our last drawing and thought about the colour we should paint it and we started to paint the idea on to the final paper.
